The International Myeloma Foundation (IMF) is excited to announce the 27th Annual Support Group Leaders Summit will take place July 16-19, 2026 in Eagan, MN.  The Support Group Leader Registration typically fills up quickly and is on a first-come, first served basis.  We highly recommend invited leaders to register promptly.

The IMF created the Support Group Leaders Summit to engage, educate and empower support group leaders. The Summit focuses on myeloma updates, resources, outreach and networking opportunities.  It is the time for new and veteran leaders to connect with each other, program speakers and the IMF staff.  What we share and learn together extends to your own local or virtual CoMMunities.

Our goal for this program is to support you by increasing your knowledge and connections and strengthening Hope.

    • Are there Travel Scholarships available this year?
The IMF has funding available through Jack’s Education & Experience Grant and generous donor support to help leaders with their travel expenses associated with attending the Summit in the amount of up to $750 per support group. We do ask, however, that requests be limited to those attendees who have real financial need.
    • What do I need to do to receive a Travel Scholarship?
To receive a scholarship you must check the appropriate box during the registration process. Once your registration has been submitted, reviewed and approved, an IMF team member will reach out to confirm approval. We kindly request that ALL leaders, including those that do not request a scholarship, utilize the IMF travel agent to book flights. This is to ensure that any cancellations, changes etc. that take place can be addressed promptly and without interrupting their participation.

If both leaders from the Support Group request a scholarship, then the expenses will be covered up to $750 per support group to be determined by leaders. Please note only one check will be issued per group.

    • Will the IMF be providing ground transportation?
Yes, the IMF has pre-arranged complimentary shuttles between Minneapolis St. Paul Airport (MSP) and Omni Viking Lakes hotel on Thursday, July 16. While business casual attire is recommended, we also suggest dressing in layers, as it may be hotter or colder at times in the General Session space. If you tend to feel chilly, please bring a sweater or wrap. For Saturday evening, we will take our traditional group photo, so you may wish to dress up for the occasion.
